Squash Cookies


2 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 3/4 c. or 14 oz. can squash
1 c. shortening
4 c. flour
4 tsp. baking powder
2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cinnamon
2 tsp. milk
2 tsp. vanilla
1 c. chocolate chips
Combine sugar, eggs, squash, and shortening. Cream well. Add remaining ingredients, except chocolate chips. Mix well. Stir in chocolate chips. Drop onto a cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees until done.
